Packaging and Materials

A major part of improving the environmental profile of our products involves continually looking for ways to make our processes more efficient.

We are working to reduce the materials we use to create and package our products, as well as to reuse materials as much as possible. We also review the materials we use and seek substitutes that will reduce environmental impact without sacrificing the quality of our processes or packaging. Taken together, these approaches also help us reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.

We understand that we cannot manage what we cannot measure, so we have introduced systems enhancements to capture important data related to our packaging. We have also implemented sustainability modeling technology to help design new products and evaluate existing ones.
